I capitulated - selling 6 Plus, ordered a 6

I have had my 6 plus for two months and don't have any issues with the size. It fits fine in the front of my Levi jeans. You could have looked for pants with bigger pockets.

Only a few, the worthy, can own a 6 Plus. The rest must settle for less. J/K Happy Thanksgiving. :)

That's what I am predicting. Hundreds of years from now some history student will become famous for making a correlation between fashion and the need to carry large mobile phone. Our era would be the stone age of communication.

I got the 6 Plus right off the bat but exchanged for the 6 within a few days. I have enjoyed the 6 to no end.

A couple of days ago I went to Apple Store and asked if there was anyway they had a Plus, grey, 128gb with ATT. SHE SAID THEY HAD THREE !!!

Walked out with one so now I have a 6 and 6 Plus. Currently using the 6 Plus for the last few days and am liking it but will keep my eye on the calendar in case I want to return it. So far all is good. Carrying it is not a problem as I am a holster person and I can't tell the difference between the two till I pull it from the holster.

Screen realestate is great and the camera actually DOES seem better.

It is good we all have choice. :)

I wear Levi 511 and the 6+ fits just fine. That is a pretty slim/straight fit.

When was the last time you checked them out? They are not the same as 5-6 years ago.

I said the same thing

+1
i find levis depends on where you buy them from.

buy them from an outlet shop, youll get all the crappy levis

buy them from the levis store, and spend like $150-$200, youll get the good stuff.
Selvage, USA made, raw

Switched me off Nudies

People still wear Levi jeans??? Yikes!!

so what is totally wrong with wearing levi's jeans. i have 5 true religion jeans, nudie jeans, rock and republic, citizen for humanity, AG, hudson, 7 for all mankind, diesel, john varvatos jeans and yet i do have LEVI's jeans and love them..... Nordstrom (where i shop most of the time) have Levi's also.... remember that LEVI's is a true american brand.

I wonder if these are the most returned iPhone units of all time. Would be neat to see some stats. :)

Typical indecisive iPhone 6/6+ customer: buy iPhone 6 ->return it for iPhone 6 Plus -> After 14 days: buyer sells iPhone 6 Plus; buys back a new iPhone 6! End after 30 days cycle!

Go back to iPhone store and ask if there is any iPhone 6 Plus in stock! LOL!

LOL!

Sure, there are people who went from 6+ to 6 then back to 6+, but they're in the minority. The above statement sounds as silly as the 6+ owners who predicted (during the preorder period) that all iPhone 6 owners will have buyers remorse and switch to the 6+.

The first paragraph of the OP led me to that conclusion of going back to the Plus again without fully knowing their usage of it. The reason was just an annoyance for the most part for the size which I feel is very much worth it over the 6.

Wanna bet more people went to the Plus from the 6 because it was worth it if the main reason was a size annoyance but deciding it was totally worth it? I'd start a poll but I don't need to. :)

I don't dispute that. However, they've been more posts from 6+ owners who had buyers remorse and went to the 6 than the other way around if this forum is any indication.

+1 , i buy Levis at Nordstroms and its good stuff and not as pretentious as the True Religion jeans have gotten lately. 559's are one of my fave Levis.

I was originally going to get the 6 Plus but at the last minute changed my mind and went with the 6 and I do love the size; however, I am still curious about the 6 Plus. And to top it off, a friend of mine just received her 6 Plus and loves it-I was toying around with hers yesterday and that screen.....

So, I am now seriously thinking about ordering the 6 Plus from Apple and giving it a go. I think the only real way to know is to actually own it and try it out for at least a week or two and with the extended seasonal returns period I would have ample time to give it a go.

I'm in a contract with AT&T so my question is, do I just swap out my SIM card from my 6 and pop it in the Plus? Will it have full functionality then and do I need to contact AT&T at all? Will I also be charged another activation fee? Not sure how all of this works as I've never done this sort of thing before.

Same here, need to use longer to make a choice but still loving the 6Plus for now. I use a holster so the size is not a big issue during the day for me.

No activation fee, just switch out the SIM cards.

I picked up, at full price, a 128Gb grey ATT 6 Plus unit at the local store and simply exchanged SIM cards and it was ready to use. I did return home and did a restore from a fresh backup via iTunes. Now all is updated including my music collection. Will keep the 6 as a spare.

The great thing is if you buy now you have till after the first of the year to make a choice and be able to return it for a full refund due to Apple holiday return policy.

Let us know how you like.

Thanks for the info...good to know. I started to go through the process of ordering from Apple online (sadly there's no Apple Store where I live...at least not yet, but I have hope!) and when I put in my AT&T info, it shows a summary of my phone plan and also shows a $40 activation fee! So if you swap your SIM card you can avoid the activation fee?

I can't believe people are still wearing Nudies! The only pair I still wear had the stitching ripped off of them years back before I started wearing them.

Anyway....back on topic: I did the exact opposite. Got the 6 on launch day, but couldn't get the screen size/resolution, hopes of a better camera and battery out of my head. Ended up getting a 6+ which I've been using for 2 weeks. I love it. Pocketability is an issue depending on what jeans/pants I'm wearing, but I can still "one hand" it....it doesn't look too big to me anymore and the screen is amazing.

Still got my 6, but it went up on Kijiji this week....

I better wear them as I did pay over $180 for a nudie at barneys years ago. Anyway I bought a pair of Levi's pants last night and my 6+ fits in the pocket.

Gutted, I really am.

I am really, really sorry to hear about how gutted you are.

Your story has brought me to tears and has me realize that even with a large phone, there are people in the world who are unhappy.

I wish that you find peace and tranquility, whether it is through your religion, your family, your friends or in an electronic device that satisfies your needs.

Jeans discussion aside;), I can see the OPs point. I went back and forth a lot between the 6 and the 6 Plus. Seeing them in the wild was also interesting.

The 6 "handles" just like my 5S. The 6 Plus is requiring some retraining. So far so good, but I can certainly see the draw of the 6. Liking the 6 Plus screen, and the freedom from carrying my rMini all the time.

Fits all my front pockets too . . .

Yep. No activation fee if you swap out your own SIM cards.

Haha, someone clearly hasn't understood my original post!! Lol. The point I was making is that in my opinion you shouldn't have to change habits to accomodate an oversized phone. I buy the jeans I buy because I like them, i'm not about to buy bigger jeans that dont fit me as well to get my phone in!!!!!

Great...thanks for your help! May have to take advantage of the holiday $50 gift card today! :)

Best of luck. I just went to the local home supply store and there was almost zero parking. Hate to see the malls. It is crazy near any retail store.

Enjoy!
