Why would that be, as in it wasn't showing up at all, even hours after the launch like 5 PM CST. I was able to update via iTunes without a restore, but if Apple Music is enabled in the next update, I want to be able to update, if it is indeed next week, without any problems, I'll be at Disney World and don't want to bring my MacBook.

Try a reboot. The OTA should appear.

There won't be another OTA update when Apple Music is out. It'll either be enabled remotely by Apple or included in the next beta.

I got it via iTunes, but you think Apple Music might not come out on the 30th in iOS 9.

It could, but Apple likely won't need to release a new update for it to work. They can enable it remotely.

Same with my iPhone 6. So I just did it through iTunes instead. It's restoring now.

Anyone out there still having trouble installing the update OTA? I have loaded beta 2 OTA on my iPad mini 2 no problem but still have been unsuccessful to have my iPhone 6+ recognize there is an update available. It still says "Your software is up to date". Any thoughts?

Same here on my iPad Air 2 A1567. I just downloaded the file manually and used iTunes to update.

Why would you want to do an OTA update. Need to do a clean restore. Your only looking for problems
