I could swear that I downloaded google earth, but where do I find it?

I've tried using 'finder', but it just throws up the internet pages where I originally downloaded the files.

???
 
You probably ran the application from the dmg. Happens to me all the time. Re-download it and drag Google Earth.app into your Applications folder.
