Claims to take no offense then tells everyone to kiss his ass. Classy.

If in your bizzaro Seth MacFarlane opinion it looks great then enjoy your phone no matter what other people think.
If you left the front alone, it would be a cool throwback to the styling of a 5C.

you can see the little edge in your one pic of the bottom. To me what would make it look better is if you took off that front piece. Thats what makes it look bad and cheap imo. Black front with the red back is a huge improvement. You dont really need a screen protector unless your hard on your phones. I haven't used screen protectors since iPhone 4 days.

I would have really rather gotten the iPhone you have the 10 or X but they are back ordered so long that I decided to get the 8 and when I upgrade I’ll move to the 10 at that point. I was ready to leave android after having been there for the last year plus. To answer your question about the front I used the silver Zagg luxe screen protector because that’s what I used on my last iPhone I had which was the 6s and I liked it. It just gives my iPhone a unique and different look which was the entire motivation behind the customization. I like to customize things. I won’t use the silver front forever but I will for a while or until it’s tine to get a new screen protector and at that point I’ll just go back to a clear one and let the space grey show. It’s not because I dislike the space grey as in fact it’s my favorite color of the the iPhone 8. I just wanted to totally customize my new iPhone 8 out completely and so I decided to use the silver Zagg luxe screen protector. I almost left it clear but I decided to go ahead and customize it all as I wanted something no one else had and I wanted it to be different so I it’s not that I dislike space grey but the best thing is it’s not permanent and I can remove both at any time if I want a different look. Right now I’m happy with it. After a while I’ll probably change it up to another look or at least a different skin color. If I don’t get another skin I ordered a Red leather apple case that arrived today which I’ll use then. I just like Red as it’s my favorite color so that’s why I chose red and bought the leather apple case in red. So the way my phone looks now is what I initially visioned and it it turned out better than I expected but it won’t always be this set up as it just a skin and screen protector after all which can be changed after a while. When I change I’ll keep my red skin but go to a clear screen protector and add my leather apple red case. For now I’m not going to use a case. I might on occasion but not much right now.
I walked into apple and just bought two yesterday. iPhone X.

Sad part is now you cant return it...

We all accessorise our vehicles to our own personal tastes and I don’t see this as being any different.

Did you install the skin yourself or have someone do this. I’d be curious if this was done yourself using the various skin vendors, or whether you sent it to the places that skin vehicles.

Thanks for sharing.
