Took the plunge and bought the base model space grey. and i'm LOVING IT.

Keyboard is great, screen is gorgeous, it's responsive and haven't noticed any lag other than scrolling through huge blogs in chrome and even then its just a millisecond or so and i'm assuming that will be resolved with el capitan.

got almost $200 off at jbhifi (Australia) when they had a sale on macs this weekend.

for the same price i could have got the pro - but after playing with that it just seemed chunky and annoying....i'm fine with only having one port so yeah.

if you've played with one in store like i had, and you were on the fence then just do it...i'm glad i have.

It's funny that - at this point there isn't really all that much difference between the MacBook and the pro eh? I wonder how long it will be before the discounting starts on the MacBook?
