Unlike Safari Chrome browses Facebook fast on my Mac and does not run out of memory and get super sluggish. However Chrome is very annoying because it seems like whenever I use my apple mouse đź–± and I accidentally swipe to the right it goes back to the google start page and out of Facebook. Safari nor Firefox have this issue. Is there a way to disable it in Chrome? Swiping right by accidenrt should not take me to another website. FF and safari both react to a hard right swipe, but Chrome seems overly sensitive.

I have no idea but have you tried edge? It’s built on the chrome engine so it should perform similarly but maybe it won’t have that issue. I use safari as my main browser but edge when I have a site that doesn’t work right in safari.

I don't know anything about Facebook-specific browser problems since I don't use Facebook.

Maybe you can try Vivaldi and see if that works better. Like Microsoft Edge, Vivaldi is also a Chromium-based browser.

I just settled on using FF for some websites. One dating site is sluggish with Safari but works like a charm in FF.

Apple needs to work on Safari. Its sluggish with FB and graphic intense dating sites that work like a charm in FireFox.
