I ditched iCloud and switch to G drive

I really love Apple, and everything about Apple ​

But I just could not get iCloud to share files with other users who don't love Apple like we do.

There is no easy way of sharing your documents, or your files, through iCloud with people who do not use iDevices 🙁

When Apple makes file sharing more flexible (like G drive) so one can share files also easy with people who do not have a iDevice, of course I will switch back then. But for now I must switch because I need a cloud solution that can be used to share stuff with everybody I want.

What type of files are you trying to share?

I tried to share .tgz files, .zip files, or just about anything and you just can't do it with iCloud (yet) 🙁

Yup.
Did the same. Using Dropbox and GDrive.
Not sure how a company like Apple can do a cloud so poorly.
