Just throwing this out there but is it weird that the build quality of my 5C is better than my Nexus 5X? For all the flack that the 5C gets for its (polycarbonate) housing, it shocks me that it has no rattles or loose buttons like my 5X does. Pleased with Apples build quality even for an older phone.

Physically, the 5C is built like a tank. I remember holding one the week it was launched and thinking that it felt hefty and solid.

The fact that the back casing is a single, unbroken piece of tough plastic has a lot to do with this. My ultimate phone would have the resilience of the 5C casing, combined with waterproofing.

The 5c should've had Touch ID. But I guess it wouldn't have been as cheap as it was if it included that.

5c is really weak. Even with rubber case it had cracked screen after first it hit floor... all 5 are great but not plastic thing

The 5C was a great phone. I would buy another with updated specs. (I'm a "plastic phone" guy....)
Some of the sturdiest phones were plastic. Blackberry was maybe the best. I owned several and they didn't have cases.
