I sit on the couch and use my laptop or tablet or phone. The only time I have to use a desk is to scan in some documents. The scanner is on the desk and I have to plug it into my laptop.

All iPads I don't know about you but I hate sitting at my computer desk at home

My desk is for gaming/programming exclusively. iPad is 10x more enjoyable for web browsing (except in big multitasking tasks) to me. I rarely need a keyboard. Usually my forum posts are short like this. It makes me more concise. 
When i got the first iPad my world changed. iPhone is great but not the best browsing experience.
