I dont need GPS feature. I dont need the waterproofing feature partly too. I will use it for fashion and use with Iphone & Macbook.

What should i do?

Spend money (Series 2 stainless steel) or save money (series 2 alluminum case) or extra save money (series 1 alluminum cases)

For only fashion use,I would buy some cheap Chinese Cartier or Rolex copy, not an expensive smartwatch.
If you only use it for fashion, you will get mad at the short battery time.

I would still go for SS S2 - well obviously I feel that way because I did that. But even if you don't run, the GPS could be great for tracking walks on holidays - maybe some without a phone or bike rides? The water resistant feature is just really nice for taking it to the shower after a workout or jumping in the pool and relaxing etc. without fearing

Depending on the condition, some First Generation stainless models used are selling for Just under a $100.00. Decent price to those who want to experience an Apple Watch that will Continue to see WatchOS 4 support in the Fall.

Where are you finding those deals?!? I checked swappa and eBay and saw a couple closer to $200.

I saw a local one for sale on Craigslist for $115.00 and eBay had one last week for $110.00 in good condition, but did not come with the original box and the casing was rather scratched up.

First-gen "Series 0" in SS.

Or a nice-looking solar-charged Seiko (I can't vote for a fake Cartier/Rolex in good conscience). Or maybe a Hamilton or Tissot, or a vintage automatic.

Or just go big and buy a SS Series 2.

If you want an Apple Watch that looks better than a gadget, SS is really the only option.

Am I mistaken or does the Series 2 have better battery life than Series 1?
Sort of -- it's a fatter battery, but it's also driving a brighter display (which only goes to full brightness when outdoors) and a GPS chip (which doesn't get used if you're not using an app that asks for GPS).

Get stainless steel, aluminum looks and feels cheap compared to the stainless steel and if you have a B.B. near you you may find an open box series 1

I own the stainless steel model. I used to own the Aluminum model when it first launched and after two weeks, I sold it and purchased the stainless model. To me, it's worth The upgrade with the Sapphire display and the weight of the stainless. As you said, the aluminum model was too light for me and I did not care for the Ion-X Glass durability. But I do think the aluminum model is ideal for fitness with the lighter weight.

I guess it's a matter of taste. I would pay up for Series 2, even if I weren't a runner and cyclist. (The improved waterproofing alone is worth the difference.) But I would never pay the absurd (to me) premium for the stainless model. (I have the Series 2 aluminum in gold.) The aluminum looks good, and lighter is better.

Get a Series 0, SS. You can get that for less than $200.
I had that one, great device if it's ONLY for notifications. Dont expect opening any apps on the watch that would be quicker than taking your phone out.

Series 1 however, would be a great middle-ground.
