What would it take to make Apple include gmail in iChat? I love gmail. I think it's the best email out there.

How would use e-mail in a chat client? If you want to access your gmail, you can do that from the Mail application or any third party application like Thunderbird.

I'd suggest signing up for an AIM screen name. You don't have to use AIM to access it. iChat is just fine with it. You can talk to anyone who uses an AIM-compatible client on Mac, Windows, Linux, Palm, or mobile phones.
