I don't understand

I have restored my iPhone 3G to 2.0.1 and when I try to sync it gets half way through my Apps the my trackpad on my Macbook becomes unresponsive Mac OS X Crashes and then my iPhone goes into a constant reboot I am on my 4th restore in 2 hours and same thing over and over..... Any one having issues

Sounds like an iTunes problem. I would suggest calling Apple Care and having them walk you through the process to remove and reinstall iTunes (and all support and plist files).

I too would suggest calling Apple, but it installed flawlessly on my touch.
