iPhone I don't want ITunes to start when I conect my iPhone

What can I do? iTunes starts when I connect my iPhone.
Is there a way to work this out?

Wouldn't you just uncheck the box "automatically sync this iPhone it is connected" in the "Summary" section of the iPhone in iTunes.

In itunes there is an option "open itunes when this phone is connected". Turn it off (unchecked)

Hi,

Thank you for your messages : ) !!!

Because the phone is in DFU mode and I use another
phone company, I can't go to the "summary section"
of the iPhone.

I searched in iTunes. (As I mentioned, i am using the
latest version). I couldn't find the option of "open itunes
when this phone is connected", in order to uncheck it
and turn it off. For some reason it doesn't appear.
Neither under the iTunes preferences.
