In my place, I can replace iPhone battery with a very cheap price (less than 18$) and it takes only 1 hour, of course not by Apple. In your case , if you can't wait, you buy a new iPhone. Apple doesn't forbid you to do that.

With a two word response, maybe you got a response from a bot??

Uh we talked on the phone?

I have a X. As stated in my post, the old phone has been put on work busy as part of my business. It only needs to browse websites, take screen shots and install apps. However, it is even struggling to perform these simple functions.

My advice would be try to take it easy on the folks in the store and front line support and if you do have to vent I would do so with the EL.

While I think the battery issue is overblown there is also a side of the general consumer who feels they have been mislead.

Not sure what you mean. Apple remotely diagnosed my phone. I have not been to a store once over this issue and in realty have only sent two emails and a half dozen calls over a 3 month period? I think I'm being rather "easy' over this whole situation.

Sorry but there is no way I would trust a 3rd arty to do this. I buy Apple products for a reason. I'm not some 20 year old with a broken phone screen. I take my car to the dealership to be serviced.

My comments were more general.. to everyone in nature. It sounds like you have been more than patient.
