How on earth do people get bubbles...? I have never had. bubbles from installing a screen shield...?

The secret: Rubbing Alcohol

Screen protector bubbles annoy me a lot. Had my screen protector not been built into my Otterbox Defender iPhone case, it would have been ditched long ago.

Yesterday I decided to wipe down my iPhone and it's protective case with Rubbing Alcohol, since it's a super effective cleaning agent. When I put my iPhone back in, and carefully smoothed the screen protector over the iPhone, the bubbles were effectively gone! Awesome!
I used regular Alcohol. It didn't eliminate the bubbles, but helped me to not care about them. :)

Hahaha, I must say it took me more than just a few seconds to figure out what you meant, but when I finally grasped I started laughing!

It doesn't matter what you use to clean the screen with - wet wipes, water, alcohol etc. The real key to not having bubbles is using a tape to pick up all the physical dust, that's how you'd know for sure there will be no bubbles.

Kind of following this. Just like to share one tempered glass screen protector experience. I've watched all the anal Youtube vids to make sure I get this right. Ultimately though, I mismatched the screen protector to the front camera, so attempted to pry it up and re-seat it. Fail. Lots of dust bubbles. Solution: Used a isopropyl alcohol and white vinegar mix I had in a squirty bottle. Lifted the screen protector up again (carefully, a bit at a time without breaking), wet the "wet" screen cloth (which had dried out with shelf life in sunny Queensland) and cleaned the phone screen, cleaned the bonding surface of the screen protector (believe it or not) with the wet screen cloth and left the surface of the screen protector (bonding surface) wet. Then, re-seated the screen protector on the phone screen. No bubbles, as they pushed out even easier, along with any residual moisture. There was also no blurring or weakness in the the protector screen bond. If you're like me and loathe this job entirely, might be worth considering this method as a last resort.
