so after years of wanting one but feeling the switch would be to much i have switched to mac full time, mainly to stop myself playing games & be more productive with my photography & hopefully to learn Programming

I purchased the 2.26 Octcore 12GB Ram & 1TB + 640GB

i been using it for 2 days, its been a dream, i haven't been able to tax the cpu's at all yet even playing games (quake live & TeeWorlds) or exporting 300 pictures with aperture

its a great machine

only annying thing i have had with it its starting having a buzzing noise randomly. after reading the interwebs it sounds like the power adapter cable is hitting the fan every so often.

Here it is

HDTV 40"
Samsung 30" IPS :D
HP LP2475W

Mac pro + SKY HD + I7 Gaming Rig + PS3 :)

Not that it matters, but I think your Samsung is a PVA panel, since that's what Samsung manufactures. Just FYI.

woopd put it on the wrong line

samsung is a s-pva you are correct the hp is a H-IPS :)

coo, i'm looking to get that HP monitor to replace my 22" CRT pretty soon. and when did mac pros start having a lighter colored apple logo than the case? on my '06 it's darker than the case color. maybe just the angle/reflection it was taken at.

The 2009 is nice.. BUT.... I prefer the case of the 2006/2007/2008. The new build feels "cheap" and "cost reduced" compared the it's older siblings...

Has anyone else seen this??

My door needs to be popped/snapped in on the upper left corner... The locking mechanism is a step down... As is the design for the screwless OCE backplane cover...

Lovely set up (reminds me to clean up mine…), but why is your tower facing away?
