I was in such a hurry to snag one that it slipped my mind (ApplePay is FAST)

Will I be able to call it in when I get the watch or will I have to trek down to the Apple Store?

Yes, you can add it post purchase, I believe up to 30 days after.

Never got AC+ with any other device. I got it for the watch since I'm going to be wearing it while at work. Figured better safe then sorry.

Did anybody else notice that they have a new Applecare+ (AppleWatch+iPhone) for $149? It says that you can add an iPhone <6 months old.
