iPod I found a bug in creating an account without credit card!!!

I redeemed the times code in Japan Store
I couldn't actually redeem it, but i could create an Japan Account without credit card and then downloaded the free songs!!!!

And now i have accounts for each store.

I redeemed a Pepsi free song code, and I created an iTMS account without enterting a credit card number.

You've been able to sign up without a credit card for a long time. It's for those that are using gift cards, free promos, or allowances.

I believe you can buy gift certificates for a store in another country which allows you to shop that iTMS. ie a Brit can buy a gift certificate for a 'friend' in the US and then use that gift certificate to download from the US store.
