i tried to resist the temptation, but the new health features got to me. So, I ordered the series 4, BUT I have a 7 month old Hermès series 3!

Any advice on the safest way to unload it, not only do i feel guilty about having two watches, but I doubt I will be wearing the Hermès at all now!

Ha ha..

I’d try market places on fashion websites.

You are not the only one, I'm pretty sure many people out there also face the same issue as well. Well Apple will always continues to update new watch every year.

1: sell it on eBay - you will get more money out of it
2: trade to apple store - you will get less money i think

3: if this watch cause you itchy skin, apple will need solid proof in order to open investigation case, it can take a month to sort it out before they can give you a full refund - it happened to me AW3 Nike+ after 3 month of using it from last year....they will look at your Activity & photos of skin itchy patch....

i'm hoping AW4 will NOT cause me any itchy skin - i do jogging on the treadmill (25mins) for 3 times a week

I personally would try to sell locally, otherwise I would utilize Swappa.

You might get a bit more on eBay but the eBay and Payapl fees will eat that up and there is a good chance of getting scammed at the same time.

I always sell on Craig's List and walk away with hard cash.

Sounds like you have a reaction to the silicone band. I have no problems but my son does. It usually takes about 2 days before it shows up but his wrist will turn splotchy red and itch.

The band was fine for me, i just get reaction from the LEDs light which burn my skin due sweats.

I have not heard of that one before. I know when I would wear my Fitbit Blaze that would happen from time to time. That usually happened when I tracked my sleep. Haven't had it happen with my Apple Watch yet and I've had it almost 2 years.

Well, it happened to me anyway maybe i got the bad batch AW3? my dad and my sis, both have AW2 but nothing happened to them.

Interesting. My wife can't use the silicone iPhone cases because her skin has a similar reaction, but she's fine with the Watch bands (both Apple and imitation silicone bands).

Thanks everyone.

Apple will give me 250 (at most), I also discovered a lot of trade in sites don’t accept Hermès or AW Edition.

I’m a little leery about eBay or Craigslist.
I may just eat the loss, and hand it down to my daughter, minus the leather band!!
