I got a kitten! Name advice?

Because it seems to be a popular thread-theme on MR to share the great news of new pets, I got a new kitten! Our whole family had been missing having pets in the house this Christmas (our first Christmas without any pets...our dog died this past spring). I was at the pet store and fell in love with a beautiful Himalayan mix from the local shelter...I called my parents and they came over, and decided we needed her Was very lucky -- another family had her in their arms while I was waiting for my parents to get there, and were filling out the paperword....then changed their minds at the last minute.

She's 6 months old, so an older kitten, but just beautiful and very, very sweet.

Any advice for names? I was thinking Bailey or Shiloh.

I am so excited -- I have missed having a cat so much! Mine died four years ago.

Just FYI, we were at the pet store, but we adopted her from our local humane society that brings animals to adopt to the store every Saturday.

So far, I like Aileron (how do you pronounce it though?), Willow, and Sleet...and still thinking about Bailey (as in Irish Cream)

She's lots of fun, and a real lover! Her favorite place to lay so far is on my MBP

our cat's name is Ash (cause it's black) but he gets called piglet more often than that, as it suits his personality.
