Okay guys....thanks again for all your help. We went back and forth on a LOT of names. My dad and I really, really (REALLY) wanted to name her Thirteen, after the doctor on our favorite show (House) , but my mom thought it sounded Satanic.
So, we've named her Thomasina, after my favorite childhood (and loved to this day) film Hopefully it sticks!
Added a couple more pics...her favorite places to lie are as close as possible to a computer.
She has blue eyes like Paul Newman. How about Paula New Kitty? My cat Emily died three weeks ago. I got two new kittens today. They are scared and have been hiding in my chair all day. I expect they will come out when they are hungry enough. Their names are Mary and Gracie and they are 13 week old sisters.
Thought I'd update this thread because I'm feeling bad about my cat -- who was renamed Sasha a few weeks after I posted in this thread last.
Sasha went missing on Thursday evening after she didn't come home for her afternoon frolick. Our family is obviously heartbroken and worried sick; I'm hundreds of miles away at school, so I feel helpless, but my parents have posted fliers all over our neighborhood, contacted the vet, shelters, and spent every evening looking and calling for her. They even got a call last night from a neighbor who spotted her (as you can tell by the pics, she's very unique looking), called her by name (thanks to the flyers), and she started to come and then ran away. They spent another 2 hours looking for her -- the person who spotted her was in our neighborhood but at least a quarter mile from our house.
I hope she makes it back home. I can't bear thinking she won't
My buddy and I recently named his black kitten Logan. Until his claws come out, then we call him Wolverine. He plays with his claws and bites gently. Cutest kitten Ever.
Cats are amazingly smart creatures, they always seem to be able to find their way back and tend to go and rest up if they're sick or scared - tell yourself that she'll be home soon
Looking at those pictures, the first thing I thought was "awwwwwwwwww!!!". So cute
I told my wife that we should have named our cat Rocky, and then get a female and name her Adrian.
Our cat actually started as "Princess," but we later discovered that we were not told the truth about our cat's gender. As *he* grew up, we had to change the name to Prince
I tell people if we had to change the name again, he'd be "The Cat Formerly Known as Prince."
Thanks, guys. My parents got a couple more calls that she was spotted and my dad even thinks he saw her -- spent 20 minutes calling for her, and no go. I'm just going to assume someone nice found her and has adopted her -- she's so pretty and generally friendly. But it still hurts
^^
Yeah, my folks had an adorable kitty who looked a lot like yours. She disappeared, too. I think folks grab up cute little kitties and take 'em home. I know you miss her. I hope she turns up.
