I purchased Sketchbook Pro for the iPad and then wasn't satisfied with it and got a refund through iTunes, yet can still use the app and still have the app in iTunes and on my iPad.

Like I said, I got the refund and don't want to "steal" money away from a developer and keep using an app that I got a refund for...

Shouldn't the app delete itself or stop working or whatever? Am I missing something here?

Well the reason you got a refund was because you weren't happy with the app. So it's only right that you don't use it. I didn't think refunds were allowed on apps, so it was very kind of the developer/company to refund the money (unless the rules have changed).

They can't remotely delete the app, so yes, you can still use the app. But only you know what's right...

    Ah, I see.

I heard that whenever itunes offers a refund that the developer still loses 30% hosting fees to Apple which I think sucks; but figured the app would stop working. Nevertheless I'll go ahead and delete it, i dont see myself using that app anyways.

Curious, why didn't you like the app? It looks promising from the demo.

Its really a great app, probably the best of its kind..

..but im not a drawer, and after spending an hour everyday using it, slowly etching away at a single drawing my fingers/hands get a workout...personally i'll stick to Photoshop on my Mac.

Can you update the app after you got a refund? Just wondering.

Yea you can still update. It sucks frOm the developers side seeing as they lose money for giving yOu the refund minus the fees they pay to apple.
Since I heard this I really dont wanna screw the little guy, the developer.

Well, they screwed me first by requiring new hardware to use the ipad app and not making the iPhone version i bought a universal app. I was mad after paying $29 to find out I need new hardware to use it. Good thing Apple sided with me and refund me. The developer of that app can suck it.

I can't use to app currently cause I don't have the new hardware, but when or if I do I will be happy cause I got it for free.
