Had it looked at, the guy at the Apple store said that it was probably only the top case, and that he would replace it under warrantee if the liquid sensors inside the case weren't tripped. Nice $250 Christmas present!

That sounds fair. Now just hope that the inside stayed dry.

Trying to wash of dirt from the laptop... it's like trying to extinguish a fire with gasoline.
