You get what you pay for

I bought a cheap silicon case ($9.99... cheap compared to many of the $30 cases that exist) for my 3GS two years ago... still have it and its been the best case I've used for any iPod or iPhone. It's not a stretch for me to believe even cheaper cases can do a good job.

I remember the first case for an Apple product I bought was a leather flipcase for my 5G video iPod... the damn thing was so tight-fitting it scratched my iPod nicely just putting it in.

I ordered:
Matte screen protector
Hard black case
Black silicone case

For a total of $7.10 and free shipping. If they suck, at least it's protection til I find something better, it was only $7. If they're good, awesome.

What's the deal with the three different prices on each page though? When you search for each item number under each price, they all go to the same item.

I fell for that too, look at the item numbers. The first 6 digits are the same, then there is a different number at the end. They're all mainly single item, 2 pack, and a 20 pack. You can order in bulk and save. Once you go to the cart it shows a little better. Only thing that sucks is you can't select any other shipping option. Its great that its only $4 for two skin cases, however I wont be getting them for 2-3 weeks. I'm getting my iPhone on Thursday...problem.

just ordered one also and noticed the 2-3 week shipping too LOL

I'm hoping to get a bumper on launch day. Hopefully that'll be adequate until my Wrapsol Ultra arrives (hopefully the 25th, as I live in MA). I don't know if I'd want to get one of these $2 cases. Sure they're cheap, but I don't know if they'll arrive before the 24th since they ship from Asia.

They're good cases, I bought many meritline stuff over the past year.

The only thing I wouldn't buy from them are power adapters because those do tend to stop working.

But as far as cases and screen protectors go, they're perfect.

At the end of the day, a case is just a bunch of molded rubber or plastic. It's pretty hard to screw up. The factories that make them usually get their hands on a geniune iPhone or iPhone parts before hand just to make sure they fit.
