Rip all of your favorite movies using Handbrake then re-encode them in a bunch of different formats.

Buy Final CUt Studio 2, import 10 hours of uncompressed HD footage, and export it in maximum settings :D.

Play some games under bootcamp at max quality (well, except for maybe crysis).

Install MrBayes (configured for multi-processors), and crunch some phylogenetic data for me and my colleagues!:D

No, no, no, The couple of thousand dollar machine, (24" iMac is for my wife),

I have a good idea why I bought the Mac Pro (it's cool, and some photo work), but I was wondering what really screams and uses all 8 cores. That way I will have something to show off to all my neighbors who work for Microsoft. :D

Start complaining about the lack of a graphics card upgrade path.

It's the unofficial pastime of the Mac Pro forums
