This morning my 3.06 didn't respond. Does not turn on at all.
Time to call Apple... and once it comes back -----> ebay... I'm tired of Apple's faulty and cheap hardware. iPhone stays... we'll see for how long :D
If anybody is looking for a iMac then keep checking ebay. I'm gonna let it go for a good deal.

Sorry to hear this. Did you have many problems with it before it died? How long have you had it?

I told you to go with the ATI card but you never listen. lol, it was all that gaming that killed the poor thing.

My alumiMac has it's first birthday on Friday. I was going to invite you to the party but seeing this new anti-Apple attitude of yours I think I'll pass.

Enjoy your iPhone. I just bought a 16GB Touch and I am LOVING it! Best iPod/PDA/media player ever.

I hope this divorce of you and Apple doesn't mean you won't continue posting in here. I do love to read your contributions and will miss you otherwise.

He probably got all excited seeing those shiny new HP Pavilions at Best Buy [GAG, CHOKE], or those hot looking DELL XPS, with blue lights in the panel, and that way cool OS, Vista Home Premium. It's like a moth to a flame for some...

    LOL!!

Faulty and cheap hardware-based 24" 3.06GHz iMac for sale. I am selling it cheap because I'm done with Apple's crappy junk...

Yeah, let me get my bid in too. :p

I bought it the day they were released.

iMac's first but I had issues with my Mac Pro and I sold it no more than few weeks ago. I also had a 2.2 Santa Rosa Macbook that died on me about 3 months ago so i guess my Apple patience run out :)

Lol who knows! You might be right man. Only thing is I used it for 3D not gaming. It's still Open GL so I'll let you know if you were right :)

    That sucks man! I love parties!! :( ;) :D

So far the iPhone is doing what it has to lol so no bigger complaints here :) And of course I will keep posting! Macrumors is the biggest source of quarterbrained fanboy mentality and there is no way I'm gonna miss all the fun!! D:

Nobody tells you to. But $1700 as this is what I want to get for it fast isn't a bad deal for a system that will be fully working and you can buy adittional apple care.

You must be one of those that sees a apple logo and you're all ready to go.

I have 2 Dual Xeon systems on Vista 64 Bit for my render farm and now my main 3D tool (thx to the cheap Mac Pro that had issues) is also a vista 64bit based Yorkfield QX9650 3.0GHz LGA just so you know... IF you even know what I'm talking about and I doubt it.

You see Sushi.. That is why I love Macrumors!! :D

I thought that was you ... with a sledgehammer. :D

And MR loves you! I like anti-apple people who actually KNOW what they are talking about and are not just saying stuff as fanboy/anti-fanboy or whatever. Please do keep posting, everybody needs a reality check! :)

Actually I do. Do you know what Blade servers are and SAN's? I take care of 2 16 blade per enclosure blade system with a 10TB FC SAN, Oracle Database, 10 Citrix Server Farm, etc., etc., etc...

So yes, I do know what you're talking about. Nice tinker toy you have there...

So if you do know about that stuff why you post ******** about HP and BestBuy??
Trying to be funny? Or you're simply a lousy admin and you can not set them up so they run smoothly?

As for my tinker toys I sure do love'em! It's like a christmas everytime I bring a new piece to the set.:D

Actually a true admin never buys business systems from Best Buy, especially Pavilions...

Yes, trying to be funny...well I laughed at least...:D

Glad to see there are more people here that can actually think clearly :)

Don't get me wrong. I'm not a Apple hater. I mean I used them for quite some time it's just lately Apple is really pulling crap and I'm tired of it. It kills my workflow and productivity big time and I can not afford it.

Well I didn't even cross my mind that you would buy your system there. That would be hard core. And I'm pretty sure any of BestBuy sales people asked about a blade setup would tell you to go to Walgreens and find Gilette department.
