Welp, this is a surprise. My family was thinking about upgrading to iPhone 5s from their old 3gs's. I have a lovely Nexus 5. When I got home today, family members were on fire to go down to ATT. We were going to be switching carriers from T-Mobile. I was planning on just keeping my Nexus 5 while everyone else upgraded. Long story short, I walked out of there with a brand new iPhone 6 plus. Everyone else walked out with the 6. So far, I love this thing! My last iPhone was a 4S. I also have a rmbp so its just as well that I get back full into the ecosystem. Its nice to be back.

Congratulations. I have am iPhone 6 and I think my next one will be a Plus size. The 6 felt big at first but now the screen is feeling smallish to me. Times change I guess and people change.

Enjoy your phone!

It took me three try's to move from the 6 to 6+ but could not be more happy with it and it's performance.

Not your new phone and do not let the negative posts ruin your experience.

Thanks for the kind words folks. I love the bigger size!
I can't believe there could be to many negative posts about this phone. I mean its terrific from what I can tell so far
I picked up a spigen air case, and a moshi screen protector as well.

Welcome back to Apple, OP! The Plus is a fine device, surely. Unfortunately, my hand size and usage cases rendered having the Plus more of a pain than a positive utility, but nonetheless its a wonderful phone. Enjoy!

I would love to go to a 6 but alas.... money is the problem. I am not on contract and can't afford to go back on one. I pay $86 for two 4s on GoPhone, $25 cheaper than my ONE 4s on Post paid. so now I can only buy used phones or outright and I don't have, nor will I prob. ever have $600 for it. It's funny how history has a way of repeating itself. I was in this same position just 5 years ago.

Enjoy your new phone! :)

Got my 6+ the day they came out. It was a test, really. I was reluctant to give up the 4" form factor as I do so much with one hand.

Yes, the 6+ required some compromises in how I used my phone, but the extra screen real estate more than made up for it. Love it.

Congrats on your Plus. I've had my Plus since 2 weeks after launch date. I ordered it on line and right off had buyer's remorse once I hit the "buy" button. I was so concerned that it would be too big for me. When I got it, it took me a couple of hours to know I really made the right decision. I've had new iPhones every couple of years since the 3GS. I can say that as much as I've been excited about getting a new phone, it usually wears off in a month or so. Not with the Plus. I still feel the excitement when I grab my phone. Absolutely love the Plus.

I was actually typing a post for this thread on an iPhone 3Gs. Wanted to type on it just for kicks and to see if I can enjoy a 3.5 inch screen again. Hell no! It took me probably 3x longer typing on it until Safari crashed on me a few minutes ago. The 160+ ppi didn't help much either from that 3Gs.

To the OP, great decision by you. It will start to look wiser by the day once you get accustomed to the size. I said in another post that the iPhone 6 Plus is the best iPhone that Apple has ever made (so far). All iPhones prior to the 6/6+ look like kiddie toys by comparison.

I simply could never type on a 3.5-4 inch screen again. I already had my struggles just moments ago! Congrats to anyone who made the leap from 3.5/4 all the way up to 5.5 inches. Texting and browsing is so much better on it and so is everything else on a bigger and sharper Full HD screen can offer! Enjoy! I know my Mom loves her's!

Thanks again folks. Its my second day in with this phone and I'm completely satisfied with the screen size. Already, I don't want to go back smaller! No way.
