I can't live without Jailbreak it.
Shall I jailbreak it after 4.2.1

I am on 4.1 now.

To jailbreak your iPhone 4 on 4.1 you can use LimeRa1n.

I would suggest sticking at 4.1. Use the method described in the post above.
No point updating to 4.2.x on any iPhone (for most people), and it only complicates the Jailbreak process for now.
