Since the first hour that panther was announced that g5 owners get the $20 uprade.. i was there.
i first tried to place the order online with the apple upgrade store.. the page wasnt working properly cause i wouldnt handel my canadan postal code.. only american.
i though.. no biggie.. ill just call. in the order
so i did..
i was order # 13! for the upgrade.
placed the order over the phone.
got them to ship on my usp account.
no problems.
ok.. so i wait till panther was unleashed.. last friday.
i call in they say.. i didnt ship today it will ship monday.. damn.. well okay..
on monday i call they say my credit card didnt go through. .. no one called me to tell me this. no prob..i fixed the prob with my card.. but now they want me to fill in and fax them a form. with the same information that they already have.. i said no.. just try the card again. so eventually they did.
okay so finally they said.. i will ship tomorrow (tuesday) i said. ok. fine.
with UPS Express.
today i call (tuesday) they say the invoice went down to shipping. call back later to get the tracking #
i said fine.. no problem.
so i call back later..
they say.. it didnt go out today it will ship tomorrow!!! @&*^#%^&@#%&^@%# 234 ^&$% *@#& @*#&&^@#(*@#&(*@ @#*&@*#(@#
F'n Hell.. Why.. Why cant they just ship the bloody thing.
people were recieving pather.. before it was even released.
aparently the call in phone center isnt the same place as the online store.
they didnt even consider sending boxes until friday.. they were waiting for there shipment from THE Apple Online Store!?.
that really made no sense to me.
why two systems...
So now they say it will ship tomorrow and should arrive on thursday
I bet i wont get it until next week!
they probably will mess up that im shipping UPS
I will NEVER order anything from APPLE using anything but there ONline STORE
