I haven't worn my watch in a couple days because I hate the band scraping against the metal on my mac. It's the new nails on a chalkboard. It's fine for outings but during the day? Nope.
Ordered a sport band but that's taking forever to show up.

I actually agree with you on this one. The biggest annoyance to my ears is metal on the aluminum macbook. I actually can tolerate nails on chalkboard well, but I definitely can't do bracelet on macbook.

I also didn't get the ML because my wrists are large and the ML is ultra thin.

Do note there's a metal pin on the sport band which sticks out the back of the watchband... It's quite possible that this will also scrape against your mac, depending on how you angle your hands.

Maybe you'd be better off with something like the leather loop...? :)

I have a 38, so the loop isn't an option. Figured I'd have the same issue with the modern and classic buckles, so the sport seemed like the best option. I can always cover up the pin with a piece of tape if it gets too annoying.

your typing wrong. lol no but seriously i remember reading proper typing on a computer is with your hands hanging in the air. No one I now of types that way. esp on a notebook.

Without triggering the mods, I'm removing my White Sport Band as soon as I get my Casetify band, and I'm looking to get a Milanese Loop as soon as it's available (or get the 42 SS Milanese that's stuck in Processing with a June ETA).

Scrape. SCCCCCRAAPE.
Proper typing be damned. This is just annoying.

Does it come with the attachment parts for the watch? A lot of 3rd party straps I've seen on amazon don't, so that's why I haven't bought them.

If it's a 42 mm and your interested in selling , pm me

This (and the extra expense) was why I didn't choose the Milanese loop when I ordered my watch. I felt that it would be annoying against the Macbook, and I also have a metal keyboard drawer on my desk. However, the sport band's metal pin does rub up against them a bit as well. I'm trying to change the way I'm typing a bit to see if I can make it a bit better.

Yes, it has a stainless steel adapter that comes with it.

I preordered a few weeks back when they gave me a June shipping date, but in the past few days, I got a pre-shipment notification from UPS.

I personally don't even like the look of the Milanese Loop to be honest. So from the get-go I was never going to get one (have a Aluminum Sport w/Blue SB delivering today and a black band shipping soon). Even more so now after seeing actual people's pictures of it on their wrist I just don't like the look of it. To each their own of course!

I hate this, it always happens with my watches when my laptop isnt docked. i got in the habit of putting one of those lint-free screen cleaning cloths on the left side of the trackpad, and then I just stopped wearing a watch.

Didn't even occur to me for the apple watch... Anyone with sports band: is this happening with that band too from the pin on the back?
