I HATE the new timer interface from Control Centre! 😂

Okay hate might be a tad dramatic but I find this so much harder to select, say, 2 minutes than I did with the old version on 26. Also I'm sure it used to remember the last timer I set but this defaults to 15 minutes every time...?

I've learnt it's one of the (few) things Siri is good at.

You don't need to say anything apart from a duration. For example, just say "2 minutes" and it'll set a timer for that.

I hate the fact the button doesn't just open the app. I used to use it all the time to set an alarm and/or a timer now I have to go to the clock app to set an alarm was easer from the control center

I do this all the time when my hands are full and if you tell it 2 minute timer for pasta it will note it in the label

If you add the alarm to the CC it still opens the clock app.

You could probably make a shortcut if you want a button that opens the timer screen itself.

We've been able to do that for a while. I don't know when it was added, but it's not new with 27.

To be honest (and this is a first), I’m not even sure I prefer the iOS 18 interface. I like yours, too. Looks as if it were coming from the Dynamic Island. I think I like that.
