interesting theory, but it depens on if crows are native/active in that area of Germany, it could be a result of other things as well dont forget.....

as far as i understand the report, it's not a theory. they sent the toads, watersamples and what not to different labs. they even put fish and insects in the pond that should indicate toxins. they did full bacteriological analysis like they do for food. then they finally contacted a zoologist who actually looked at the toads and found the missing livers and the signs of the crow picks. they could have done that right away and saved lots of money.......
and yes there are lots of crows in hamburg.

i dont see where in the article that they contacted a zoologist who said that they are missing livers and the cause is from crows?

This morning, on the way to work i read a similar thing about these toads, if you don't mind learning dutch (and signing up) you can always check it out on page 3 of todays issue at www.freemetro.be
