I have 2 problems... Are they common?

1. Sometimes 3G just doesn't work. It tried loading a page for over a minute then gives me an error message. The rate of this happening to me is increasing over time. EDGE works fine.

2. Now, whenever I update an application in iTunes, I will get an error saying the application could not be synced. Whenever that happens the older version just stays on the phone. New applications install fine. I never see any updates available in the App Store on my iPhone.

I HAVE restored and my phone is NOT jailbroken.

Try toggling on and off the 3G network or try turning on and off Airplane Mode. That might help it reconnect.

I have tried that and no dice. I also tried restarting the phone.

Turn off the phone and take out the sim card for 30 seconds and put back in.

AppleCare Tech Support just walked me through that same problem and removing SIM card and a restore resolved the issue.

I assume this only solved the 3G issue and not my Apps issue?

Should I bring it to Apple?
