I prefer to use Firefox as my browser.

Today i installed an app that made sure you keep the words you had typed out on a message board. I hit the restart Firefox option. It didn’t restart. I removed it from the dock, and tried to start it again, all it did was bounce in the dock for a second or two and disappears.

I deleted it from my applications and reinstalled it. It still does the same, bouncing in the dock for a few seconds hen disappears. I even restarted my MBP to see if that helped which it didn’t.

Have you got any ideas on how i can sort this please?

By "app" do you mean add-on? It's probably somehow not compatible with your version of Firefox and you need to start it in safe mode and then disable/uninstall the add-on. Then Firefox should work as usual.

Thanks

I got rid of it and installed FF4(beta) and it's working fine
