I Have A Question About Something

Im sorry for not being specific but i really dont know how to explain this, im kind of new to mac and i was looking at this site

and i was wondering how this would effect my computer in the way of viruses and just overall safety of the computer...So if someone could take a look at this and let me know that would be nice.

I would say your safe, as you run a Mac. This is not an uncommon thing to have to do for certain networking applications.
