I've seen the size of Other vary wildly when I reboot my phone. I just ignore it. Make sure you're doing iTunes or iCloud backups. Try rebooting your device a few times a month.

Heh, I almost did this myself. The question is on the bottom right of the picture. 😀 "what's other mean?" Definitely could have used a new line. lol.

Other is anything that doesn't fit into the pre-defined categories there.

Cache, settings, elements of the OS etc.
