Here is where my iPhone 7 plus is. Apple's site still says "preparing for shipment"

You are one step ahead, girl! Lucky! My trade in box is arriving tomorrow. So far no shipment yet, but it being Sunday I'm not expecting it to.

Oh, before today, did your order say 'ship date: 9/16 or deliver by 9/16?'
I don't have anything yet but I was jumping through hoops to get the 650 trade in value. I was only getting 220 at first. They had me under contract when I wasn't supposed to be. I have a box coming today that I have to trash. Get another one but I have to wait until the iphone is active on my line to put a trade in request (what the rep told me on the phone).
What's the big deal about receiving a tracking number? That's what happens when you order something online.
Wow. It's a preorder and it says processing on Apple's website for what seems like forever. So yes, it is a big deal.
I tried the track by reference, but it says no record found. Looks like my October 4th delivery date could be true 
One of my 2 phones has already shipped. I can track it on UPS" site, but it does not show the whole number
. I find this kind of fun. I ordered a BMW several years ago and tracked it's journey from Germany to the US.
It also shows up with the serial number on My Support Page. My gold 128gb 7 plus does not show just yet, but it does say that it is being prepared for shipment.

Because this year there is one week until launch day from preorder day versus two weeks.
It will be here soon and it will be here on time. Take a break and head outside for a walk. As a matter of fact, I'm going to take my own advice and hop off here in a few minutes and get outside!
Last year was two weeks but previous to that it had been one week as well and we didn't see movement until Wednesday.
I now have tracking numbers for both of the phones I ordered. The Jet Black 7 is in Louisville and the gold 7 plus is still in China. I have serial numbers on both phones and they both show up in my profile now!! Delivery is set for Friday. At least they are both coming via UPS this time. Last launch one came UPS and the other came via Fedex. So I'll only be waiting for one.
