I recently bought an iPad Air with 64 gb . I want an advice if that is enough for a commerce student in college for note taking purpose . iPad is the only apple device that I have now , so there is no option of data transfer between apple devices . Should I get a 256 or I will be good with the current 64 ? I wasn’t aware that iPadOS for iPad Air is 8.11 GB.

If that's all you're going to use your iPad Air for, then 64 GB is more than enough. I have a 64 GB iPad Pro which has apps plus photos and other things and I still have plenty of storage space left.

Unless you start filling up the iPad with music, videos, and photos, you should be okay.

I also agree that for note taking alone 64 GB is plenty. It’s the additional media that one can put onto the device as well as extra apps that would eat the storage up.
