    Ok, The school were giving away old iMac G3's, and I couldnt say no :p

    But now, I'm stuck with a Snow, Slot Loading iMac, running Mac OSX 10.1.3. Its got 255 MB of RAM, so I assume that makes it the Summer 2001 model? I dont know how fast the processor is, so any help regarding that would be much appreciated :)

    But onto the more pressing issue, I need a new use for it, its to noisy, and I have a better computer for normal use, so as a result the G3 has just been sitting there, so I'm up for anything!

    Many thanks

    Edd :)

    :apple: -> About this Mac

    Use it as a NAS and hook up external drives. It will be on par in power with other NAS solutions on the market today.

    Instead of water, fill the G3 with vegetable oil and overclock it. Now you can use it as a NAS and cook your fries. :p
