The reason why some people (including myself) have been "missing" some notifications is that the Watch ONLY vibrates / plays a sound if the notification on the phone would play a noise without a Watch connected.

So, that means that notifications like Instagram that don't use sounds at all, some Facebook notifications, or any notification where the user actively turned off sounds in Settings will show up on the watch, but only appear in the notification window. There is no haptic feedback for those.

I am coming from a Pebble, and while I get the mindset behind some notifications being "passive" and not bugging you all the time, I would like the ability to turn on haptic feedback for every notification if I want to- which it appears is not possible now.

It almost requires a Ph.D. to figure all this out. I wonder how less tech-savvy people figure this out.
