iPod touch I have some questions on jailbraking my iPod touch

I am currently running version 4.0(that's what my iPod says)
I'm planning on using jailbrakeme.com. Because I'm running 4.0 will jailbroken apps work on my iPod? My friend downloaded mewseek on his iPod and it just crashes(he tried both versions)

You can jailbreak, but some jailbroken apps are not currently supporting iOS 4.0. Some developers are working on fixing their apps, but it depends on the developer.

Here's a link on some of the apps that does or doesn't work. (Although it hasn't been updated since July 25)
