I have been getting these little circle ads that pop up and stick on the home screen or whatever app I am in. I didn't think to get a screen shot but I will next time it pops up, I am using Chrome. I haven't installed any different apps than I normally use

A ZTE, here are some screen shots, one of them is what happens when I click one of the ads

It may be caused by a free app that you installed. It's not unheard of for free apps to do this kind of thing on Android phones.

You can try and delete any free apps that you recently installed one by one till the ads go away or use an adblocker such as Adguard Pro.

Once you click on the ad, and then go into multitask view, what is the ad labeled as? It may tell you the app. You can uninstall, or just disable notifications/permissions.

You only really see this with the worst of apps. I have seen it once since Android was first released. It was a a crappy app.

OP -- I second this. ^

How long has this been going on?

Did you recently install a new launcher?
