Before I continue, I’m going to list out some disclaimer. I’m not impressed by the design aspect of the phone only. My current phone is a 13 Pro Max and I will be making comparisons between these two iPhones more often than not. And of course, this is just my opinion so feel free to agree or we can always agree to disagree.

My first complain is the weight of the 15 Pro - it feels pretty hollow and though it’s functional, I do appreciate some weight and heft. I’m aware that I’m comparing between my 13 Pro Max and the 15 Pro so the difference may seem to be blown out of proportion.

I’ve handled the regular 15 at the store and honestly I think the frosted glass finish is better on the 15 than their Pro counterparts. It’s softer to touch and feels much premium compared to the ones on the Pros. The finish on the titanium chassis is a poor reflection of the rendered images from Apple. They look lacklustre and feel fragile even when compared to aluminium chassis. When I first held it I had no confidence it’ll survive a drop from waist high.

As for the finish of the chassis, I wish they would have done it in a way that is similar to the Edition titanium models of the Apple Watches from previous years. The current finish looks lacklustre compared to stainless steel and feels fragile compared to aluminium - worst of both worlds I feel.

The titanium material makes the iPhone look cheap. It immediately reminded me of the aluminum we see in cans of canned food. For such a premium device, this is a letdown. My wife got the 15 Pro in white, and we checked out all the colors in an Apple Store. To my surprise, the black looks more premium than all the other colors. The blue looks boring.

If only the phone feels heftier and if they added more sheen to the titanium finish - it’ll look and feel more premium.

I traded in my 14 Pro max for the 15 Pro Max, Blue and it feels much better than the 14 Pro Max. Weight in hand and pocket is much lighter, screen feels better to the touch. I feel it's a good upgrade and I upgrade my iPhone Pro Max every year. Lack of features compared to 14 Pro Max because they basically the same phones but 15 Pro Max just feels better to me.

Totally agree. I'm also disappointed in the titanium blue. It's so dark that it almost looks black to me. Not what I was expecting.

outdoors it looks beautiful and it looks nicer than the black titanium model. Tho the natural titanium looks bad indoors it looks dull more like a silver dull color.

It’s like people don’t know what titanium is supposed to look like. Guess my Breitling would be cheap to you also. The sh*t you guys come here to complain about.

I don’t know about Breitling but I sure as hell appreciate the RLX Titanium on the Yacht Master. Just sayin.

The lighter the better for an iPhone.

Absolutely love the backplate on my 15 Plus.

It's important to encourage constructive discussions and respect differing opinions. If someone hasn't experienced a device with external titanium material, they may be curious or have valid questions or opinions. It's fine to express your thoughts, but let's keep the conversation polite and open-minded. 😊 You look like someone aggressive and rude even. No need to be this sensitive. Sometimes I wonder why people bother commenting…

to be honest, I've not been a fan of the "deeper" colors going back to the midnight green of the 11 Pro, the pacific blue of the 12 Pro, etc. That's why I picked up my 15 Pro in white this year. Meh, it's gonna get cased anyway. The colors on the 15 (non-Pro) line? To call them "pastel" would be an overstatement IMO.

OP's comment about weight is intriguing. There's been an article or two written about how the Ti band changes up the center of mass of the phone to make the perceived weight lower. I definitely notice that compared to my 12 Pro. And, while I like it, I can see how it might be a little polarizing.

I went to the Apple Store today to pick out a color and was quite disappointed in the Pros. The black and blue titanium doesn’t looks premium, it looks kinda plasticky. The natural titanium is just a light grey whereas in the marketing it looks like it has a brownish/champagne tint. The white actually looks better than prior versions so I think I’ll go with that one after it being my last choice going into the store.

Weight wise it‘s almost the same as my 12 Pro so I’m happy it‘s not heavier.

I saw it in the Apple Store today and thought for sure it was black until I picked it up and kept moving it around to look at it in different angles. It’s very dark.
