I have to restart my router every time I shutdown/restart my Mac? If I sleep my Mac, open it back up its disconnected from the internet, and if I try to join it it says "INVALID PASSWORD" even though the password is correct. I have to reboot the router, which takes ages to start up, before it'll connect

The router is brand new, I've only had it for a day.

Update the firmware on the router, if that doesn't fix it return the router to where you bought it, it's defective.

+1 to the firmware, it's also possible the router's just junk. D-Link make some of the worst.

Start by telling us the model number of your router.

A friend of mine had the same problem with a Verizon router. She called them and they sent her a new one. Works fine.
