Eh, why? I still use my first gen iPad. I'm happy with it. LTE would be nice and retina is nice, but my first gen iPad still does everything I need. I'll eventually upgrade, but meh. I don't want Apple to stop innovating just because I can't afford to upgrade every 6 months. In fact, I prefer it that way. So when I finally am ready to upgrade, I know I'm getting a cutting edge product, the best Apples engineering pipeline has. Not what Apple is comfortable releasing while they 'hide' the new models because they are afraid they'll alienate customers of the current product.
Besides, never ever owning one because they upgrade too fast? What's the advantage? I have an old iPad.. you have NO iPad, I'll tell ya who I feel sorry for, and it ain't me

haha.
However, the first gen iPad comment, yeah, I was sold with that too. When they came out, I went into the store, played with one... and had to have one. that's just all there is to it. What an awesome way to browse the web, use apps, etc.
I don't use it as much as I originally did, perhaps that's why I'm not in a hurry to upgrade, but I still use it a lot and absolutely love it.
