Apple reckon it can push 1920 by 1200 on an external display.

    What have you tried already?

It won't let me. The most high I have seen is like 1280 x something and is the default setting

ok it sounds like its mirroring. I haven't got an external display around for me to check on, so i'll have to do this by memory :p

I think there is a checkbox saying Mirror Displays. It could be on the other display. If it's there, un-check it, and see how you go.

For widgets go here. You'll just have to search around see what ones you find to your liking.

As far as programs, what kind of programs do you want?
