No but I saw one in my old office the other day lying around broken, put's it into perspective that you could get 16gb first gen iphones when that is still the standard 6 years from now, I really think the iphone could do with more space as standard.

16gb wasn't the standard back then... 16gb was the top of the line. They sold for 4gb, 8gb, and 16gb. I think 16, 32, and 64 is a good point.

No sorry thats what I meant, the top of the line then is the bottom now, but I still think the bottom spec as of now should be raised, but then again I'm just a space junkie ;)

Been getting 64gb for the 4S and 5... I don't think I'll even use all of that and I take a lot of videos and pictures

I've had all the iPhones and the first gen was one of the best looking on the back. That's why the iPhone 5 looks great because of the mixed material on the back. :)

The original iPhone is really nice to hold with the curvy back, and the classic reason alone.

I wouldn't mind using it as my daily feature phone given the chance.

Congrats on the mint iPhone 1st gen. I've never had one. My first smart phone was a 3GS.

Thanks... Yes it's mint as hell, I got lucky for a good price too. My first iPhone was the 4... I tracked a good condition 3GS and 2G just was lucky

Yea I think the curved back was the best design. I am not the biggest fan of the new rectangle design even though I have the iPhone 5.

I digress... The brick shape is classier and better looking... Can't wait for the big form factor change on the 6

This is going to sound weird but whatever. When you hold an iPhone 3G/4/4S/5 it feels like a normal, ordinary phone. But when you hold the first gen it doesn't feel like 'just' a phone. It still feels like the revolutionizing device from 2008.

Maybe I'm just thinking of it that way since I didn't have an original one.
