Does anyone else have issues typing on a 6?
I always hit the "n" button instead of the "space" button in between words. I never had this issue on a 4 or 5s. I never pressed the "n" button. I always find myself going back and deleting stuff to replace 3-4 words smooshed together with n's in between them

Inhope apple releases a new design 5s sized phone. This one is driving me up thenwall ...

I went from a 5s to a 6+ and I don't have any problems. It probably took about 12 hours to get used to the larger screen. How long have you had your phone?

I don't type much on my iPhone 6, I just tap the microphone button and speak what I want written, it actually does a good job. There is the odd time I need to type in order to fix a wrong word, but that's rare. You might try using the dictation feature more often, it's much faster - this is why I didn't mind my 5s screen being as small as it was. Make the system work for you, not the other way around ;)

I went from a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to iPhone 6 and I do have some issues with typing, not enough for it to bother me but it can be frustrating sometimes.

To me the 6 is what I had hoped the 5amd 5S would be. The 4 was way too small for my big hands. Now I tried the 6+ and it is even better.

Hope Apple keeps the 5/5S as there are many who DO like the smaller screen.

I've had my phone since September release or whenever I forget. I do use the speaker function more often now as it works better than older versions.

I'm far more accurate and fast typing on my plus than I ever was on my 5s.

Overall I probably find the i5 better for typing because I could use one hand, therefore it was more convenient. As for accuracy, there is no difference for me. I can type super-accurately on an i5 and nothing has changed in that department.
Not being able to hold the phone in one hand and type with that same hand is a negative, as is hitting the space bar in web searches on the 6+.

I've only had one annoying problem when typing on my iPhone 4S and it's followed me on my 6: I always get an I when I want an O!.

I don't know what's wrong with me, but I've made that typo three times in a row before.

I have the same problem. I always hit "O" instead of "I". This happens to me constantly on the iPhone 6, but didn't happen with the iPhone 5S. I'm starting to think it is the keyboard layout!

It's the opposite for me. I found that I could type much faster and more accurately on the larger screen and keyboard of the 6 and 6 Plus than the older iPhones.

I typed very well on the 3/4/5 series having come from blackberry. I always type in portrait mode.

I tend to hit the period a lot more on the 6 than I did before but other than that, it's been pretty smooth.

You'll get used to it if you type enough. It took about a month typing on my 6+ before I stopped hitting "B" instead of the space bar. I flow like a champ on the keyboard now.

I always hit the period instead of space.. Happens to me all the time since the 5.

In what situations? Seems like the keyboard doesn't have a period key present in most places where you type much content. As I recall, Safari is probably one of the only places that has it, and even there only for the address/search bar, which is somewhat different and specific for that use case.

Bingo .. i didn't even realize that till you pointed it out to me.. You are 100% correct on where ive been doing this.

I was helping my senior neighbor with her iPhone 5. She had terrible trouble with typing on the iPhone compared to her laptop. It took me a while to realized that she often touched the wrong key consistently because from the angle of her view her finger was touching a different key than it actually was.

I showed the problem to her. Then I had her went through a typing practice, hitting the keys she had trouble with. It helped.

My suggestion is that if you consistently type one letter when you mean to type another, take a few minutes and repeatedly trying to type that letter, making any adjustment necessary. You have to retrain yourself.
