I found a great way to make new windows appear exactly where I want them, without having to drag them around. Maybe this isn’t newsworthy if it was obvious to others, but I just figured it out so I figured I would share it in case it helps anyone:

Steps:

1. Turn/tilt my head to look at the place I want the window to appear
2. Summon the “Home” view (with all the floating app icons)
3. Select the app I want

Presto, it pops up right where I was looking. This has made it MUCH faster to me to recreate my setup after moving to a new location.

Yep. They showed how that works in the keynote.
Ha! Well, maybe this helps other folks like me who didn’t watch that closely? 😳

Previously, I had been summoning windows directly in front of me, and then moving them to the position I wanted.

You can also double click the crown to move all the windows to your current view.
For me, double-clicking the crown either:

Hides all windows and shows me a clear passthrough

OR

If all windows are already hidden, the double-click brings them back to where they were

Sort of like “hide others” on a Mac (command-option-h)

A LONG press on the digital crown will summon my windows to my current location, but it doesn’t always replicate the layout the way that it was in my prior location.

Sorry, I meant the long press. And right, it won't replicate the layout, just bring them all to your current view.
