I kid you not. I installed a bumper and got this error message:

Houston, we have a problem...

- Steve

the bumper does not interface with the inner workings of the iPhone. It therefore could not recognize you even did anything. I'm calling BS. 🙄

did u just take it off a dock to put the bumper on because sometimes when i do that that will pop up even if it will work with the phone.

The bumper is trying to connect to the iPhone via Bluetooth & WiFi .....

disable Bluetooth for proper bumper sync.

It had been off the docking cable for some time.

And all the holes are lined up, including the mic.

Very strange.

I gotta wonder if there's a potential shorting issue going on since the bump case has metallic buttons on it to mimic the volume ones it sits on top of/covers.

There are just too many oddball things going on with various issues and the one thing in common that I've noted is the metal band that makes up the antennas...

Defective by design...

Now the message keeps popping up. No cables, headphones, anything...

The only thing I've done is pair a Bluetooth headset to it, and it's turned off.

And I'm not going to make a video...I don't have anything to prove here.
